De/Eng: Ein gelungener inspirierender Abend mit Issa Amro
It was an exciting, successful evening! Despite World Cup and all the sympathy for Iceland we had a full seminar room Students, citizens of Ilmenau and some visitors from other parts of Thuringia came yesterday to listen to Issa Amro's reports and to discuss peaceful forms of resistance against the Israeli occupation. Some visitors were traveling for one hour by car to take the opportunity to get first-hand information from a respected human rights activist! We were very happy about the lively participation and the great interest in the event! We would like to thank Issa for his great lecture and his daily untiring commitment despite the threats and repression by the occupation - to fight for justice!
